I had the first opportunity to use my LensCoat RainCoat RS at a huge soccer tournament in Sheridan, WY this past weekend. It rained and snowed off and on all weekend. After a brief period of learning how to use it I discovered that it kept my Canon 5D Mark III camera body and Canon 28-300mm lens completely dry! I wouldn’t have risked exposing my expensive equipment to the wet cold weather
without my RainCoat. It’s very versatile so I’ll be able to use it with several other lenses. I also have a RainCoat for my Canon 500mm which although I haven’t used it yet I’m completely confident that when I need it it will perform just like the RS I used over the weekend. I strongly recommend these products to all serious armature and professional photographers who want to shoot in wet weather without worrying about any damage to their expensive equipment.
