I had the first opportunity to use my LensCoat RainCoat RS at a huge soccer tournament in Sheridan, WY this past weekend. It rained and snowed off and on all weekend. After a brief period of learning how to use it I discovered that it kept my Canon 5D Mark III camera body and Canon 28-300mm lens completely dry! I wouldn’t have risked exposing my expensive equipment to the wet cold weather
without my RainCoat. It’s very versatile so I’ll be able to use it with several other lenses. I also have a RainCoat for my Canon 500mm which although I haven’t used it yet I’m completely confident that when I need it it will perform just like the RS I used over the weekend. I strongly recommend these products to all serious armature and professional photographers who want to shoot in wet weather without worrying about any damage to their expensive equipment. Was very easy to put on and take off and easy to use most camera controls by feel alone. Would highly recommend this product! Worked great...
