I bought the LensCoat Hoodie X-Large (Black) for my vintage Unitron 4" refractor telescope. The 'scope is about 60 years old and hard to find parts for, especially original lens caps. The Hoodie arrived quickly and fits really well... easy to put on and easy to remove. The Hoodie fits easily in my pocket, so unlike an ~5" hard lens cap, it will stay cleaner and less likely to be misplaced in the dark when I am out observing.

An added benefit of the Hoodie is that the neoprene material adds a little "bump protection". The telescope tube is over 5' long and maneuvering such a long tube through tight confines does add a little wear and tear. I feel that the expensive end of my telescope is now a little safer from unexpected collisions with doorways, etc.
