I use this cover on my Nikon 14-24 2.8G. This lens is very susceptible to front element damage as there is no protective filter available.

The Nikon supplied lens cap has a tendency to fall off so I use the LensCoat Hoodie as a solution. I removed the supplied stiffener from the inside of the LensCoat Hoodie and inserted the Nikon cap in it's place. The LenCoat keeps the Nikon cap securely in it's place and offers great protection for my lens
